FAQ's

What is your approach to wedding photography?

A. We are inspired by real moments (and beautiful light). Our goal is to make the couple feel comfortable and to beautifully capture the story of the day.

Do you travel for weddings?

A. Yes! We've been fortunate enough to shoot all over California, the US and abroad.

Do you shoot film or digital?

A. Digital

What is your photography style?

A. The best way to show our style is to take a look at our portfolio and see if the images move you. We are drawn to real moments captured in an artful way. This ends up being a mixture of photojournalism, portraiture and editorial storytelling. We love images that are both timeless and modern.

Any tips for being in front of the camera?

A. One of the greatest compliments we receive is that we make it easy for couples to be behind the camera. We want you to feel comfortable so we will direct you as much or as little as you need to get great images. The biggest trick we tell couples is to keep breathing. So many people hold their breath while taking photos which is probably the main causes of feeling stiff or awkward. We have other tricks too if you're camera shy, don't worry.

Do you have a team of photographers?

A. Yes, there will always be a second (and sometimes third) photographer at your wedding. There are also associate photographers available who photograph in the same style and manner if Annie is already booked on your day.

How do we book you?

A. The first step is to fill out the contact form (button below or on the contact page) so I can get more info about your wedding and send you a custom proposal. From the proposal, you can add on any extra items like rehearsal dinner coverage or an engagement shoot, sign a contract and send a deposit, all online. I'm happy to meet in person, schedule a phone call, or talk to any mom, planner, or anyone else involved who has questions.

Do you have other questions?

A. Please contact us (link below) and we'll be happy to help or go over anything photography related.
